Clark Freeport—A Chinese-led prostitution ring operating inside the Fontana Leisure Resort was busted following simultaneous raids in three separate condominiums here shortly after midnight Tuesday.
Police Colonel Amante Daro, regional chief of the 3rd Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit stationed in Camp Olivas, said young Chinese women and two Vietnamese were rescued during the lightning raid at Condo numbers 5202, 5203 and 5204 at Fontana.
Daro identified the suspects as Fu Yi Nei, 26; Luo Ying, 25; Hu Yu Lin, 30; Wang Ji Yi, 30: Liu Lin Feng, 34 and Qui Shi Kai, 30.
The suspects appeared to be security of the condominium rooms where the Chinese and Vietnamese women are locked up, the police report stated.
The CIDG Special Operation and Anti-Transnational Crime units led the operations following reports on the prostitution dens inside Fontana.
The suspects, Daro said, were caught in the act of negotiating with undercover cops and offered the women for sex.
Rescued were Wuh Hong Mei, 28; Hu Xing, 32, Yang Qi Qi, 33; Mei Xi, 31; Liu Xiao Ren. 34; Tian Gui Chun, 28, all Chinese nationals; and Le Nguyen Hong Hanh, 30 and Tran Thi Chuc JT, 33, both Vietnamese.
CIDG operatives seized the dusted money used in the entrapment operations. The arrested persons, rescued women, and the confiscated evidence were brought to the CIDG ATCU office for proper documentation and disposition.
They face charges for violating Republic Act 9208 (Anti-Trafficking in Person Act of 2003) as amended by RA 10364 (Expanded Anti-Trafficking in Person Act of 2012) after inquest proceedings at the Angeles City Prosecutors Office.
