Workers apply paint on the Manila City Hall Clock Tower with white instead of its original red paint, while also coloring the clock face gold in Manila on 14 July 2020, as Manila City Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso ordered its makeover and plans to name the new clock tower as the Golden Manila Cityhall Clock Tower. The makeover aims to make the tower sparkle brightly during daytime and create a calming effect for viewers at nighttime. The Manila City Hall Clock Tower is the biggest of its kind in the country, and stands at 100 feet. It was designed by Antonio Toledo and was completed during the 1930s.
