Malayan Insurance Co. Inc. provided personal accident insurance to 300 delivery riders, giving them peace of mind as they service customers’ delivery needs during this time of virus uncertainty.
Under the partnership with Keri Delivery Inc., Malayan Insurance provided an initial 300 delivery riders with accident protection as the two-wheelers perform their frontline service for food establishments, small businesses and families with delivery transactions in June.
Keri Delivery riders are covered by as much as P500,000 per single incident. This means a coverage of more than P150 million for all 300 riders. The Yuchengco-led Malayan Insurance has been providing non-life insurance protection since 1930, celebrating its 90th anniversary this 2020.
Keri Delivery president Alvin Villegas said the company cares for its riders and that concern for their riders’ welfare is what sets them apart from other motorcycle delivery service companies operating in the country.
