Star POP artist Jeremy G takes music fans to a heartrending journey of moving on in his new song “Dito Na Lang,” which is dropping on digital platforms tomorrow, May 15.
“Poured my heart out on this track, can’t wait for you guys to hear it,” shared the former “The Voice Teens Philippines” season 1 grand finalist.
Written by Ralph Maligro and produced by Star POP head Rox Santos, “Dito Na Lang” is about making the choice to let go of someone and pushing oneself to overcome the memories of the love that was.
Jeremy believes that young listeners who are also going through heartbreak will find the song relatable. He said, “I think that a lot of people my age have experienced rejections and chose to stay away to overcome the hurt.”
It also reminded him of an unrequited love he experienced back in high school. “I once had a friend in high school whom I eventually became attracted to because we spent a lot of time together.”
“To hide the pain and also to help end our communication, I set her up with one of my friends who I knew had a crush on her. I was hurt but that helped me move on pretty quickly knowing that she’s already with another guy,” Jeremy revealed.
The young singer headlined the Song Feels concert with fellow ABS-CBN Music artists—JMKO, Miguel Odron, and Sam Mangubat—held last January at the Music Museum.
The emerging triple threat artist also released his solo track “Sa’yo” late last year, followed by his collaboration with Jayda entitled “Perfectly Imperfect.”
Watch out for Jeremy’s “Dito Na Lang” single as it drops on Apple Music, iTunes, Spotify, YouTube, and Deezer.
