Damosa Land Inc. (DLI), through its corporate social responsibility arm Damosa Land Cares, is boosting the immunity of Mindanao’s frontliners in the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) health crisis, linking arms with mother company Anflo Management and Investment Corporation (ANFLOCOR), by donating agricultural products.
The real estate developer is supplying the families of frontliners, and the community, with agricultural products rich in vitamins and minerals that boost the immune system, such as bananas and pomelos.
DLI’s banana donations were sourced from one of its sister companies Tagum Agricultural Development Company Inc. (TADECO).
Apart from the bananas from TADECO, the property developer is also giving out freshly harvested vegetables from Agriya Farm, located in their newly opened mixed-use property Agriya.
“Agriculture has always played a significant role in our company and the economy of the region,” explained Ricardo “Cary” Lagdameo, head of DLI.
“But in this unfortunate time of crisis, we have come to realize how big the industry’s part is in the survival of those who were affected,”
