The MMG Queen of Hearts Foundation, Inc. staged a benefit Valentine’s Day celebration dubbed King & Queen of Hearts Dance for a Cause held at Hilton Hotel Ballroom 2 Resorts World Manila on Feb. 14.
Mitzie Go Gil, CEO and president of MMG Queen of Hearts Foundation Inc., led the reigning Queen of Hearts titlists and eleven candidates of King & Queen of Hearts 2020 in the fund-raising event intended for the evacuees of the Taal volcano eruption.
Noble Queen of the Universe 2019 Patricia Javier, Mrs. Worldwide 2019 2nd runner-up Llena Tan-Arcenas, Mrs. Asia Pacific Philippines- Intercontinental 2019 Glynes Olbes, Mrs. Asia Pacific Philippines All Nation 2019 Princess Limpayen Sibug-Las, Mrs. Asia Pacific Philippines Tourism 2019 Marjorie Orito, and Mrs. Philippines Asia Pacific Cosmopolitan 2019 Mary Chris Camacho graced the Valentine event. Javier was later voted Star of the Night.
The Valentine benefit show also saw the crowning of Rosenda Casaje as Mrs. Philippines Global Universe 2020. Casaje, a Nursing graduate at La Consolacion University and CEO/founder of Gorgeous Glow Philippines, from Malolos, Bulacan, earned the right to represent the country at Mrs. Global Universe 2020 pageant to be held in Singapore on March 16..
The Valentine celebration also served for the introduction of the first batch of candidates for Mrs. Asia Pacific Philippines 2020. The Queen of Hearts Foundation, Inc.-sponsored event aimed to follow up on their relief goods distribution activity conducted in January for the victims of the eruption temporarily staying at the Alfonso Central School in Cavite City.
Quest for international crowns
The reigning queens of Mrs. Philippines International 2019 could not wait to represent the country in their respective international pageants in 2020. But true to their advocacies and platforms of helping and giving back to the communities, the ladies had organized a relief operation and distribution for the victims of the Taal eruption held at the San Roque Elementary School, in Sto. Tomas, Batangas led by Mrs. Philippines International 2019 Mary Grace Avanzado and Ms. Philippines International 2019 Athens Lucena.
Mrs. Elite Mrs. Philippines International 2019 Michelle Vitug Encarnacion also launched her project ‘Lapis at Papel’ with the Tanagan Elementary School Albay, the first beneficiary, where all school children were given school supplies. Encarnacio also donated a television set to the Caguiba National High School in Camalig, Albay.
Mrs. Philippines National Universe 2019 Marie Abigael Bayuga is also starting on her advocacy on how she can help bring awareness to educate everybody about the reality of Depression and Youth pregnancy, two of the most serious problems in the country.
Avanzado and Lucena are set to compete in Mrs. International 2020 and Ms. International 2020, respectively, both to be held in Singapore in November.
Mrs. Philippines Tourism & Culture Universe Rizzalie Joy Ebreo will vie at Mrs. Heritage 2020 in Nepal on April 11 to 20, while Mrs. Philippines Ambassador Melanie Trani will compete in Queen of the World 2020 in Myanmar on April 2 to 6.
Mrs. Philippines International Continental 2019 Lubesly Tellidua will be sent at Mrs. Continental 2020 in India in August, while Mrs. Philippines National Universe Marie Abigael Bayuga will fly to Thailand in September for Mrs. National Universe 2020.
Mrs. Philippines Planet Cherryl Dacua will compete at Mrs. Planet 2020 in Bulgaria; Riza Dormiendo at Mrs. Face of Beauty International in New Zealand; and Mrs. Elite Philippines International Michelle Encarnacion in Elite Mrs. International 2020 in Singapore in November.
