“This is a significant project considering our plans to reach out to our alumni members in the country and abroad inorder to further institutionalize our organization for the initiation of development projects, programs, and activities,” said Deomedes Ranjo, president of the NVSU Federation of Alumni Associations.

NVSU-FAA consists of graduates from the Bayombong main and Bambang campuses.

Ranjo said the NVSU Alumni Building was constructed using an initial P600,000 in funds raised by the NVSU-AABC through donations, among other activities.

The fund used was further complemented through the initiative of Nueva Vizcaya Rep. Luisa Cuaresma.

“We are working out the processes needed for the NVSU Alumni Building’s proper turn-over so that we can start more works that are needed for its full occupancy, operations, and management,” Ranjo said.

The NVSU Alumni Building was implemented by the Department of Public Works and Highways 1st District Engineering Office under its  Local Infrastructure Program Construction of Multi-Purpose Buildings regular fund.

The project was done by J.E.L. Construction and Supply from June 4 to October 1 last year.
