EIGHT cities and seven municipalities of Cavite province bagged this year’s of Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) as shown on the social media page of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).
Cavite’s local government-awardees were Bacoor, Carmona, Cavite City, Dasmariñas, Imus, General Trias, Trece Martires and Tagaytay, while Alfonso, Gen. Mariano Alvarez, Indang, Magallanes, Maragondon, Mendez and Rosario.
This is the eighth consecutive year of awards for Carmona City, a grand slam victory for General Trias City under the leadership of Mayor Luis Ferrer IV, while Rosario notched its fifth SGLG award.
I thank the SGLG for this award, before I left my term, we were given the SGLG award with the help of the staff of our Town and the Barangays, We really improved to pass its qualifications,” said Mayor Pecto Fidel of Indang,
It is a great honor that we received because for the first time in our history, Cavite City was included as an SGLG Awardee. This proves the skill and talent of our Government. The result of the efforts and cooperation of every employee of our city government. Again we have proved that Cavite City is one of the best Local Government Units in the whole country, Cavite City Mayor Denver Chua said in an interview.
