n response to the impending threat of Severe Tropical Storm ‘Pepito,’ Sorsogon Governor Boboy Hamor announced a province-wide curfew.
The curfew, aimed at safeguarding residents during the storm and preventing potential incidents, will take effect Friday night at 6:00 PM and will remain in place until further notice.
“Please adhere to this directive to avoid any risk to personal safety,” the advisory read.
Residents are urged to stay indoors and refrain from unnecessary travel during this period.
Public and private vehicle operations will be restricted, except for emergency services and essential operations.
All businesses, excluding those involved in disaster response, must cease operations during the curfew hours while local authorities and emergency responders are prepared to assist as needed.
