J.Co Philippines is set to host the J.Co Run 2024 on November 10 at the Mall of Asia concert ground in Pasay City.
The event, which commemorates the company’s 12th anniversary, has already reached its maximum capacity of 6,000 participants, with online registration closing just 15 minutes after it opened on Monday.
Race organizer Rio Dela Cruz explained the decision to limit participants, stating, “Since this is our first fun run, we want to prioritize the safety of all runners. We also have exciting activities and surprises planned along the way.”
The event will feature three categories: 3 kilometers, 5 kilometers, and 12 kilometers, the main event, chosen to coincide with J.Co Philippines’ 12th anniversary.
J.Co Assistant Marketing Manager Jericho Eva emphasized the importance of health and wellness, saying, “We believe that a balanced life is essential. We encourage people to enjoy our donuts while also staying active and healthy.”
Showbiz couple Juancho and Joyce Pring-Trivino, both early registrants for the 12-kilometer race, shared their enthusiasm for the event. Joyce mentioned how running has helped them relieve stress, while Juancho expressed his gratitude to J.Co for organizing such a beneficial activity.
