Ayana Bali, one of the island’s top luxury resorts, has unveiled Tevana Garden, a six-hectare sanctuary designed to offer guests a harmonious blend of nature and opulence.
Officially opened on Oct. 8, the garden appears as a symbol of Ayana’s commitment to eco-tourism, as it provides visitors with a serene, nature-driven experience that highlights South Bali’s rich biodiversity.
Tevana Garden features over 80 species of tropical flora and offers guests walking paths that lead to quiet corners where they can reconnect with nature. From the moment visitors step into the garden, they are greeted by a striking water feature, before meandering down a pebbled pathway surrounded by lush greenery. This peaceful retreat contrasts sharply with the fast pace of daily life, making it a distinctive addition to Bali’s luxury hospitality scene.
Among the garden’s standout features is the Viewpoint Tower, offering panoramic views of Jimbaran’s landscape and the ocean. Families can explore a treehouse playground, while couples and individuals alike can enjoy the quiet charm of a small natural cave tucked into the garden. The Tea Room adds to the serene atmosphere, providing an intimate space for events like coffee tastings or afternoon tea.
Designed by Japanese landscape architects Kazuma Hasegawa and Maiko Shiromizu from Saha Landscape Design Office, Tevana Garden fuses Balinese charm with Japanese landscaping techniques. The result is a tranquil space that uses terraced landscapes, waterfalls, and local white limestone formations to create a calming, meditative environment.
Tevana Garden also serves as a prime venue for events. Its 3,200-square-meter outdoor space can accommodate up to 1,000 guests, making it ideal for weddings and corporate gatherings.
Ayana Bali General Manager Giordano Faggioli emphasized the resort’s commitment to offering luxury experiences closely connected to nature.
“With Tevana Garden, guests can disconnect from the world and rejuvenate in a natural setting, creating memories that will last a lifetime,” Faggioli said.
Located next to Ayana’s Saka Museum, the garden further enhances the cultural experiences available at the resort, which include traditional Balinese dance, herbal jamu workshops, and spa treatments. This combination of nature, culture, and luxury positions Ayana Bali as a top destination for eco-conscious travelers seeking relaxation and cultural immersion.
Tevana Garden is now open to guests staying at any of Ayana Bali’s four hotels – Ayana Resort, Ayana Villas, Ayana Segara, and Rimba by Ayana.
