On September 2024, NBA superstar Kyrie Irving embarked on his 2024 China & Southeast Asia Tour, assuming dual roles as Anta’s Chief Creative Officer and Creative Director for the highly anticipated “The Art of Movement” fashion show. This event marked the debut of the Anta Hélà lifestyle collection, a fusion of art, movement, basketball, and fashion, creating a unique athletic look that only Kyrie can bring to life.
“The Art of Movement” showcased outfits co-designed with Kyrie’s sister, Asia Irving. The collection was meticulously crafted and featured a rich purple palette, paying homage to Kyrie’s “Artist on Court” sneakers and the royal elegance symbolizing family, basketball, and design. The collection radiates confidence and brilliance, blending celebration with a fresh and magical style. Additionally, the event introduced Hélà TRIBE, Hélà STYLE, and the new Hélà STYLE SLOUX sneakers.
The show was divided into three captivating segments. The first highlighted versatile, basketball-inspired designs that could be worn both on and off the court, celebrating the artistic evolution of Kyrie’s iconic totem and the strength of Anta’s spirit. The second segment reflected Kyrie’s design philosophy of family, celebrating the enduring legacy, unity, and connection passed through generations. The final segment showcased bold, dynamic lines inspired by Kyrie’s signature logo and values, symbolizing focus, agility, strength, and speed.
Few athletes master the blend of creativity, strength, and grace like Kyrie Irving. His playing style exemplifies power, agility, and precision, embodying movement as an art form. This same energy drives the Irving Hélà lifestyle collection in collaboration with Anta, breaking boundaries and offering a modern, versatile aesthetic that echoes Kyrie’s distinctive presence both on and off the court.
Kyrie Irving also visited key landmarks in Thailand, including the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, to admire Thai art, architecture, and culture. He also enjoyed Thai cuisine at Jim Thompson’s restaurant before arriving at Central World shopping mall to meet with his Thai fans. The event featured a performance by famous Thai artist Daboyway and a special presentation by Ohm Cocktail, a fan who customized a pair of shoes for Kyrie Irving.
In addition to the Hélà lifestyle collection, the event also introduced the latest release in Kyrie’s KAI footwear line—the KAI 1 Speed. Co-designed by Kyrie and his father, Drederick Irving, the KAI 1 Speed reflects their shared passion and dedication to basketball and symbolizes the unwavering support Kyrie has received from his family throughout his career.
As Kyrie Irving continues his collaboration with Anta, he will drive the future of the KAI and Hélà product lines, pushing the boundaries of creativity and innovation. Kyrie and Anta are poised to redefine the future of basketball with a shared vision of growth, inspiration, and excellence.
