Globe Telecom is marking its annual customer loyalty event, G Day, with a nationwide celebration throughout September with special activities on Sept. 17 in honor of its iconic 0917 prefix.
G Day 2024 is designed to strengthen connections with Globe customers by offering exclusive rewards and experiences, while also supporting local communities and Filipino-owned businesses.
“G Day is our way of giving back to our loyal customers who have stood by us over the years,” said Globe President and CEO Ernest Cu. “This year, we’re taking it a step further by uplifting communities and supporting Filipino businesses. We look forward to sharing these moments with our customers.”
Darius Delgado, Globe’s Chief Commercial Officer, added, “Through the GlobeOne app, we’ve made it easy for our customers to unlock exciting experiences, redeem rewards, and support impactful initiatives.”
Key events for Globe’s G Day celebrations include several community-driven and customer-centric activities. Starting on Sept. 1, Globe users can join G-Gantic Goals by donating 1 Rewards point to support the Hapag Movement.
Once 100,000 contributions are reached, 917 families will receive grocery packs, and block cinema screenings will be held nationwide.
Through the G Raffle Rush, customers can redeem points for a chance to win prizes like electric vehicles, travel packages, GCash credits, and a one-bedroom condominium unit. On Sept. 17, G Day Delighters will offer long-term customers free raffle entries, with additional chances for those with multiple accounts.
The G Fair, scheduled for Sept. 20 to 21 at the BGC Amphitheater, will highlight Filipino-owned small and medium enterprises (SMEs), showcasing local products with support from Globe’s business partners. G Fest, a series of events focused on music and creativity, will inspire Filipino youth, providing them with opportunities to perform alongside their idols.
G Fest will take place in Pasay City, Iloilo, and Davao over the coming months. Customers can participate by downloading the GlobeOne app.
