Pia Wurtzbach has recently been the subject of online discussions regarding similarities between her and fellow celebrity Heart Evangelista.
In June, Pia became a Friend of the House (endorser) for the Italian high jewelry brand Bulgari, a brand that Heart has long endorsed. Additionally, Pia is featured in the Autumn/Winter campaign for ION Orchard in Singapore, where Heart is the Global Ambassador.
These parallels have prompted some netizens to suggest that the 2015 Miss Universe winner may be emulating Heart, including similar trends in their Instagram updates.
During Paris Fashion Week, Pia also faced criticism from fans who labeled her appearance as “second rate.” In contrast, Heart participated in the runway show for Vietnamese designer Phan Huy, presenting Look No. 2 from the Giang Lagoon collection. This black dress was inspired by fishing rivers and areas in Central Vietnam.
Following her runway show, Heart continued to attend other fashion events for Hermes, Yves Saint Laurent, and Giambattista Valli.
