Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) spokesperson Winston Casio on Saturday said the name of former presidential spokesperson Harry Roque repeatedly appears in documents and testimonies linked to Philippine offshore gaming operators (POGOs).
“We cannot discount his possible involvement,” Casio said during a Quezon City news forum.
However, he declined to reveal specific evidence, noting that Roque’s “footprint is everywhere” in the investigation.
Casio added that other names including bureaucrats and former officials have surfaced during the probe, but building a case takes time.
He suggested that someone within the criminal justice system may have helped dismissed Bamban Mayor Alice Guo flee.
