The Naval Forces Eastern Mindanao Command (NFWM) and Eastern Mindanao Command on Tuesday brought essential health services to civilians through its joint community outreach activity in Panacam, Davao City.
This activity is in connection with NFEM’s Mobilization Training and Exercise 2024, highlighting the Philippine Navy Reservists’ capabilities and EMC’s pre-anniversary activity dubbed Serbisyo Caravan 2024.
There were a total of 1,414 people who benefited from the caravan.
To address the immediate needs of underserved communities, the Serbisyo Caravan features a range of health services, including medical consultations and check-ups, dental care services, eye check-ups, circumcision, rapid blood sugar tests, haircut services, and legal consultation.
In addition, a community relations activity was also conducted, consisting of Static and Kinetic displays, distribution of food packs, and a feeding activity – benefiting the local communities of Panacan, Sasa, Ilang, Tibungco, Bunawan, and Lasang, as well as fostering a stronger relationship between the AFP and the civilian population.
