P-Pop royalty SB19 continues to win fans worldwide with its new releases of “GENTO” and “MAPA” from The First Take sessions, now available on all digital music platforms through Sony Music Entertainment.
The First Take is a popular YouTube channel with nearly 10 million subscribers, known for its format where artists perform a song in one take against a simple white backdrop.
The new versions of “GENTO” and “MAPA” have already garnered over 4.5 million views on YouTube, making them some of the most-watched performances by an Asian pop group.
The members of SB19 expressed their gratitude, saying, “We’re thankful to The First Take for this opportunity. Performing live in one take was a challenge that pushed us to deliver our best. We’ve learned to embrace spontaneity and stay true to our roots.”
SB19 is the first Southeast Asian and Filipino group to perform on The First Take, joining other notable artists like aespa, Maneskin, and ITZY.
