Actress Janine Gutierrez opened up about her relationship with fellow actor Jericho Rosales. In an interview on Tuesday, Aug. 13, Jericho confirmed that he and Janine are currently dating.
“I first decided to join the show because I was really into the production team and everyone, and then I realized that I was also into her [Janine],” Jericho shared alluding to the new series he’s starring in with Janine.
“Yes, we’re going out,” he confirmed.
Janine echoed Jericho’s statement, expressing her happiness about spending time with the actor outside of work.
“I guess so. Yeah, it’s been fun getting to know him and hanging out with him outside of work, so I’m happy,” Janine said.
When asked about her reaction to Jericho’s revelation, Janine commented, “It’s sweet and refreshing.”
Dating rumors between the two actors began in July when they were seen together at the National Museum of the Philippines. Around the same time, they both shared a similar series of photos, prompting netizens to speculate about a possible relationship.
Janine explained that they visited the National Museum because Jericho had not been there before.
On what she likes about her fellow star, Janine described Jericho as “down-to-earth” and “friendly.”
“One of the things I like about him is that he’s so chill and down-to-earth. He’s friendly with people and doesn’t care where you are or how many people are around. He’s outgoing, and I guess he’s also outgoing in his stories. So, his personality is consistent,” she continued.
Janine and Jericho are part of the upcoming action television series, which also stars Jodi Sta. Maria.
