P-pop sensation SB19 members Pablo (John Paulo Nase), Ken (Felip Jhon Suson), Stell (Stellvester Ajero), Josh (Josh Cullen Santos), and Justin (Justin De Dios) have just been announced as McDonald’s Philippines’ newest endorsers.
They follow in the footsteps of Vice Ganda, who helped McDonald’s relaunch Chicken McDo last year, and Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes who starred in a musical ad that made Chicken McDo even more popular for its huge portions.
“We’re thrilled to welcome SB19 to the McDonald’s Philippines family. Having this supergroup join us in promoting our bigger, juicier, crispier, and more satisfying Chicken McDo is very exciting,” says McDonald’s Philippines’ Assistant Vice President for Corporate Relations and Impact Adi Timbol-Hernandez.
“It’s a great partnership, and we look forward to working with SB19 to bring more happy moments to our customers across the country. There’s much more to look forward to in this campaign,” she added.
Days before the announcement, McDonald’s Philippines teased a new endorser on their social media pages. SB19’s fans, known as A’tin, quickly guessed it was their favorite group. The main focus of the campaign is McDonald’s one-piece Chicken McDo Sulit Busog Meal, which includes rice and a drink for only P99 in all stores nationwide.
