During the premiere night, the cast encouraged attendees to extend their hand in helping the flood victims by donating relief goods like clothes, food, and toiletries.

“This is something else. We were supposed to have the premiere the day after the typhoon. But we decided to postpone to be sensitive. And we decided tonight we don’t want to share the movie but to share the people who were affected. Let’s share love and give love,” lead star Sue Ramirez said.

The actress also mentioned that her mom also experienced flood by the recent typhoon.

She later revealed that growing up, she and her family also had their fair share of being affected by floods.

“Growing up, we waded through floods to get to school. I can relate to what others are experiencing now, especially those who have lost so much. I hope this donation drive helps,” said Sue.

On the other hand, co-stars Barbie Imperial and Phi Palmos also invited the public to watch their latest film How To Slay A Nepo Baby, which delves into the lives of “nepo babies” who travel to Sagada to celebrate their work anniversary.

“Hopefully, you’ll like the film. Please spread the word. If you don’t like it, just keep quiet,” Phi joked.

“No, but seriously, please support not just our movie but all films that come out. Let’s support Filipino movies and bring everyone back to the theaters,” he added.

Under Viva Films and Happy Infinite Productions, How To Slay A Nepo Baby is now showing nationwide. The cast also includes JC Galano, Charm Aranton, Chaye Mogg, Sue Prado, Naia Ching, Ralph Gomez, Phil Gomez, and Coi Suazo.
