Cebu Pacific (CEB) is set to launch direct flights from Manila to Chiang Mai this October, with its signature Piso Sale, allowing Filipino travelers to explore the mountainous region of northern Thailand.
Starting October 29, 2024, the airline will operate weekly flights from Manila to Chiang Mai on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, and from Chiang Mai to Manila on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
Travelers can book flights from Manila to Chiang Mai for as low as P1 one-way base fare, exclusive of fees and surcharges, from August 1 to 6, 2024, for the travel period between October 29, 2024 and March 30, 2025.
Manila – Chiang Mai will be the fourth route that CEB will operate in Thailand. The airline also flies from Manila and Cebu to Bangkok, with the option to fly to Suvarnabhumi Airport or Don Mueang International Airport.
“We share the anticipation of many Filipino travelers as we prepare to launch the only direct flights between Manila and Chiang Mai. This new route will provide our passengers the opportunity to explore Thailand beyond its urban attractions. Chiang Mai’s natural heritage, ancient temples, and laid-back atmosphere promise a tranquil escape for every Juan,” said Xander Lao, CEB President and Chief Commercial Officer.
With flights to Chiang Mai made more accessible and affordable, Filipino travelers may now embark on scenic trails in Doi Inthanon National Park, enjoy a leisurely stroll in Mae Rim District, or visit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep — one of the most venerated temples in Chiang Mai.
Passengers may use their existing Travel Funds to book flights and avail themselves of other add-ons. CEB also offers other payment options, including credit or debit cards and e-wallets.
CEB currently offers flights to 35 domestic and 26 international destinations spread across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
