ArenaPlus presents PBA Rookie Draft Season 49

ARENAPLUS, the Official Sports Entertainment Gateway of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA), presented the 49th Season of PBA Rookie Draft last July 14, 2024, at the Glorietta Activity Center in Makati.

ArenaPlus joined the PBA in welcoming a new batch of players, who had participated in a two-day Draft Combined last July 10 and 11 at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig, where aspiring PBA talents showcased their physical and mental skills in the hopes of securing a spot in one of the 12 PBA teams.

This year, 48 of 70 applicants were selected. Among notable players were Justine Baltazar leading the pick for Converge FiberXers, Sedrick Barefield at No.2 and taken by Blackwater, and RJ Abarrientos for Barangay Ginebra at No. 3.

To make the event more fun and enjoyable, the brand also distributed premium merchandise for free.
