After a 10-month hiatus due to health issues, Korean idol Lia of the girl group ITZY is rejoining her fellow members—Yeji, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna—for the promotion of their comeback.
In a statement shared by her agency JYP Entertainment, it was announced that Lia has made a significant recovery from her anxiety issues and will be returning to ITZY for their upcoming solo album, set for release in the latter half of this year.
“Lia has been receiving treatment for her anxiety issues and has recovered remarkably. After a thorough discussion with Lia, we’ve decided that she will be resuming her group activities for their upcoming solo album, scheduled for release in the second half of this year,” the statement read.
Back in September last year, Lia began her hiatus due to “extreme tension and anxiety,” as announced by her agency.
During her hiatus, the other members temporarily continued their activities as a quartet, promoting their “Born To Be” studio album and world tour.
