“Besides being free of charge or affordable healthcare services provided by the Lab for All of First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos, it will also develop a culture of health consciousness among Filipinos,” Romualdez said in Filipino.

Some 1,026 workers received P4,050 each in financial assistance under the program.

The Lab for All caravan offers free consultations, laboratory tests, x-rays and medicine to indigent patients of the community.

Rep. Romualdez said these health services are important to the people, especially those located in far-flung areas where these are not readily accessible.

“In Lab for All, medical check-up is free of charge, along with laboratory and X-ray services, as well as medicines. It is all free and it would be detected if a person is healthy or sick and needed assistance, “she noted.
