The Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL) and Chungnam National University (CNU) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to establish a framework for joint activities that strengthen IP education and research in the Philippines and South Korea.

“I am confident this collaboration will help us to build a stronger relationship between our two nations as our people reach for a better, brighter future that is ‘rising, shining, beckoning’ on the horizon,” said IPOPHL director-general Rowel Barba.

Under the agreement, IPOPHL will facilitate Filipino students and faculty participation in CNU’s IP education programs. CNU will reciprocate by welcoming Filipino participants to IPOPHL’s educational offerings.

Both institutions will also collaborate on joint events, camps, conferences and symposia, fostering the exchange of knowledge and best practices.
