Angeles City–About three hectares of land has been allocated as a relocation site for residents of Sitio Balubad, in Barangay Anunas, Angeles City, who were displaced last March 12 after the 73-hectare land they were occupying was reclaimed by its owner, the Clarkhills Properties Corp..
Angeles Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr. said the three-hectare area in Magalang town would be able to accommodate some 535 families who were identified in a recent census undertaken by the city government.
The affected families were identified during the mapping ordered by Mayor Lazatin with a view to assisting them in the relocation process.
Lazatin said each beneficiary would be given a 45-square-meter lot at the relocation site in Magalang town.
