The Philippine Retailers Association (PRA), as part of the 30th year of the National Retail Conference and Expo (NRCE) slated on Aug. 29 to 30 at the SMX Convention Center Manila with the theme “Retail Today. Empowering Tomorrow” will present two sessions delving into the essence of catering to today’s consumers while maintaining a harmonious balance across various sectors and highlighting the pervasive influence of current trends.
The PRA, the premier national organization of the country’s top retailers and allied industries, said there are numerous trends and influences shaping consumer expectations in today’s dynamic landscape, whether it’s in fashion, lifestyle or food and beverage.
Leading the session on “Transforming Stores into Experiential Destinations” are life and business partners Eric Dee Jr. and Bea Soriano-Dee, co-founders of the Sunnies brand. Another session, the “Hallyu Wave: The Korean Culture’s Global Influence on Retail” will feature a distinguished panel exploring the phenomenon of the Hallyu Wave.
The session will trace its roots, evolution and widespread appeal across continents, shedding light on the cultural significance and universal appeal of Korean entertainment and lifestyle trends.
