THE GNPower Mariveles Energy Center Ltd. Co. (GMEC) and GNPower Dinginin Ltd Co. (GNPD) have disclosed they poured P80 million for their corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs benefitting local communities.
The CSR programs covered education initiatives, community medical assistance, livelihood trainings, among others.
GMEC-GNPD public relations officer Dominic Bolo announced the twin power generating firms based in Bataan will present a symbolic tree as a commitment to progressive future in their upcoming stakeholders meeting on June 25 in Balanga City.
He said the presentation of a symbolic tree will be followed by a pledge of sustainability and the fastening of sustainable development goals (SDG) pins on all attending stakeholders to signify collective responsibility towards the United Nations SDG.
