A Bataan-based power firm, in partnership with a local Rotary Club, reached out to hearing-impaired students and their mothers in Mariveles town in a bid to help them cope with the special challenges confronting them.
N Power Dinginin Ltd. Co. (GNPD) Project Saysay targeted 80 deaf students from various schools in Mariveles.
The students from Antonio G. Llamas Elementary School, Mariveles National High School Poblacion, Mariveles National High School Cabcaben, and Cabcaben Elementary School with their parents gathered together for an interactive activity including creative and sign language workshop in a restaurant in Mariveles.
The students were accompanied by their teachers.
Ilah Cornejo of the Rotary Club of Mariveles facilitated the sign language workshop.
