The Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX), the first landport in the country, said Friday it reached a milestone of 146 million overall foot traffic since it opened in November 2018.
It said the achievement highlights the company’s consistent growth, popularity and unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional experiences to the commuting public.
“This milestone reflects the trust and loyalty of millions of visitors who have chosen PITX as their preferred transportation hub. We are thrilled to have reached 146 million overall foot traffic since we started operations,” said Jason Salvador, corporate affairs and government relations head of PITX.
PITX attributed this to a combination of innovative offerings and strategic initiatives designed to enhance the visitor experience.
PITX also announced the upcoming launch of new routes. Starting June 13, Solid North will operate new routes to Dagupan and San Carlos, Pangasinan, while on June 14, Victory Liner will commence operations of a new route to Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.
These new routes are set to provide more convenient travel options for passengers, enhancing connectivity and accessibility to key destinations, it said.
PITX said it is also experiencing success with its office tower operations. The headquarters of Department of Environment and Natural Resources MIMAROPA and DENR Environmental Management Bureau CALABARZON now reside at PITX, bringing increased business activity and economic growth to the area.
PITX said it is focused on further enhancing its services and expanding its reach. Upcoming projects and initiatives, including the new routes to Dagupan, San Carlos and Tuguegarao City, are poised to attract even more visitors, ensuring sustained growth and continued success, it said.
