More than 700 pass Coast Guard course

More than 700 trainees under the Coast Guard Non-Officers’ Course (CGNOC)
Class 106-2023 “Lahi Mandala,” finished the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) training at the Regional Training Center (RTC)-Zamboanga on May 27.

According to the Coast Guard District Southwestern Mindanao (CGDSWM),
the new “Coast Guardians” surpassed the rigid physical training and academic modules in preparation for their duties and responsibilities to the Filipino nation.

Coast Guard Education, Training and Doctrine Command (CGETDC)
Commander, Vice Admiral Charlie Rances, congratulated the graduates
and urged them to become role models in serving fellow Filipinos.

“Many are called but only few are chosen. Serve the public with
integrity, honor, competency, and compassion. Life in the PCG is not
easy. We are here to save lives, maintain peace and order, and enforce
the law,” Vice Admiral Rances said during his speech.

CGDSWM and BARMM Commander, Commodore Marco Antonio Gines, and
Zamboanga City Special Economic Zone (ZAMBOECOZONE) Chairman and
Administrator, Auxiliary Commodore Raul Regondola, were also present
during the graduation ceremony.
