Bossjob, a chat-first career platform for professional hiring in Southeast Asia, is hosting a job fair that will bring together more than 120 companies and government agencies. The Merged 2024 Job Fair will be held July 13-14 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.
The event, co-organized with the Philippine Dragon Media Network (PDMN), builds on the success of last year’s Fil-Chi Job Fair. More than 4,000 job seekers and multilingual talents are expected to attend, with over 3,000 job vacancies available.
One of the highlights is the presence of government agencies that will provide assistance with government requirements. These include PhilHealth, the Social Security System (SSS) and Pag-IBIG. Attendees can also register for a national ID at the fair, where the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) will be represented.
Bossjob will conduct workshops to equip attendees with job market skills. Activities include a career advice desk, a mock interview booth and a professional photo booth. Attendees can also hear from speakers representing the participating companies.
Kimberly Chen, Bossjob country manager, said the fair aims to connect job seekers and employers while offering valuable insights.
“This year’s Merged 2024 Job Fair is about establishing connections between industries and talent,” Chen said. “We are dedicated to facilitating careers that propel individuals and companies forward. By offering workshops, panels and networking opportunities, we provide a platform for both job seekers and employers to find success.”
The Philippines-based recruitment platform has over 2.9 million registered users in the Philippines. It aims to reach over 30 million users in Southeast Asia by 2026. Bossjob began offering free services this year as part of its global expansion efforts.
