Singer-songwriter Trisha Denise finds herself at the intersection of creativity and fulfillment. While she’s known for crafting hits for some of the industry’s biggest names, hearing her own voice singing her compositions on the airwaves is an entirely different thrill.
“It’s a great honor to collaborate with the industry’s biggest names, but hearing my own voice is a unique experience,” Trisha shared with Manila Standard Entertainment.
Trisha’s songwriting journey has led her to compose chart-topping tunes for renowned artists like Regine Velasquez, Pops Fernandez, and Belle Mariano, among others. Despite her success, her primary goal remains simple: to entertain and touch the lives of her listeners.
“It doesn’t matter if only one person listens to my songs; as long as I can touch that person’s life, then that’s great fulfillment for me as a music artist,” she expressed.
Trisha’s musical path began unexpectedly. Originally envisioning herself as a chef, she found her true passion at 11 years old when she picked up a guitar and started writing songs. This newfound talent opened doors to life-changing opportunities, ultimately steering her toward a music career.
“When I started writing my own songs, I fell in love with it, and that’s what I pursued through college. I also joined songwriting competitions until I landed my first published song for Janella Salvador’s debut album,” Trisha shared.
As a recording artist, Trisha has released several tracks, including “Mahalaga” from the soundtrack of Between Maybes. In 2021, she launched her debut album titled Piece of the Puzzle, featuring singles like “Liliwanag,” “Ika’y Mamahalin,” and “Mamahalin.” Last year, Trisha unveiled her six-track EP Simula Ng Wakas, which explores themes of emotional healing and embracing new beginnings.
“It tells the story of overcoming a painful past and finding the courage to start anew. It’s for those seeking a fresh start in their lives,” she explained.
Throughout her music career, Trisha has discovered her unique formula for songwriting—letting raw emotions and personal stories shine through her artistry.
“The Trisha sound emerges from the genuine feelings and emotions I pour into my songs. It’s all about personal storytelling,” she affirmed.
