Hilton Manila’s satiating innovation to co-working spaces

Whenever lunchtime rolls around while someone is in the middle of a business meeting or engaged in their tasks for the day, they often have to leave their tables to go somewhere else to eat, putting their work on hold and possibly affecting their productivity.

Recognizing this, Hilton Manila has recently introduced Campus, an innovative concept that combines a co-working space with a dining experience.

Operating within the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant Kusina Sea Kitchens, Campus provides guests access to important tools that can help them in their work such as computer workstations, high-speed internet, and power outlets while also allowing them to indulge in the delicious food from the various cuisines served in its buffet.

Kusina Sea Kitchens offers a variety of delectable dishes from different cuisines all over the world

In an exclusive interview with Manila Standard, Hilton Manila General Manager John Lucas recounted the idea behind the innovative concept.

“We all know that when you attend a conference or when you attend a meeting, a lot of your networking and a lot of your communication is done on a coffee break [or on a] lunch break. So we’re providing a space and an environment where the customers feel comfortable to chat and engage not just in the meeting room, but outside of that as well,” said Lucas.

In the Campus workspace, guests will be able to focus on their collaborative work as there is a designated space for meetings that they can avail for their team. There are also various areas with ergonomic seating that individuals can utilize for their work tasks.

Guests can also utilize the available computer workstations for their work tasks

Its interior design will also help guests get into a productive state with its well-lit space adorned with pleasant designs such as a large mural made by Conrad National Marketing Office Trainee Simonne Gale Dacanay.

“We genuinely believe [that] this is quite a unique proposition and there’s not much other meeting opportunities like this around town so we’re pleased with what we’ve done and we genuinely think it’s going to be a great success,” said Lucas.

Guests can utilize Campus’ operations during weekdays from 12:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. and be able to choose from Kusina Sea Kitchens’ buffet spread that features Filipino, Western, Asian, Continental, and Indian cuisines for P2,500 per person.
