Global K-Pop icon Lalisa Manobal, popularly known as Lisa of Blackpink, has announced a new partnership with RCA Records. Under the deal, Lisa will release new solo music and will have full ownership of all her recordings.
“I’m incredibly excited to join the RCA family,” said Lisa. “I’m confident they’re the perfect team to help me create a bigger movement in my solo career. We’ve been preparing so much, and I can’t wait to share it with everyone.”
RCA Records is renowned for fostering the careers of some of the world’s biggest artists, including A$AP Rocky, Doja Cat, Justin Timberlake, and P!NK.
“We’re incredibly proud to partner with Lisa and LLOUD CO.,” said Peter Edge, chairman and CEO of RCA Records. “Lisa is a multi-talented powerhouse and a global force. We’re thrilled to welcome her to the RCA family.”
Beyond her success with Blackpink, Lisa made history with her solo album Lalisa, selling nearly 750,000 copies in the first week in South Korea. Her songs “Lalisa” and “Money” reached the top 10 of the Billboard Global 200.
“Money” holds the record as the longest-charting song by a solo female K-pop artist on the Billboard Hot 100 and U.K. Singles Chart. Lisa also broke Guinness World Records for Instagram followers and was the first solo K-pop winner at MTV Video Music Awards and MTV European Music Awards.
Beyond music, Lisa will star in HBO’s The White Lotus Season 3, marking her major on-screen debut.
