“The President continues to work in his residence, handling correspondence and directives within medical advice. He anticipates resuming full public engagements soon, per his physician’s clearance.” Meanwhile, according to FOCAP, the PCO said a new date will be set with Mr. Marcos.

The First Couple were reported to have developed flu-like symptoms following their full schedule these last few days and were advised to take fluids and medication to alleviate their symptoms.

They have been advised by their attending physician to get some rest to ensure their speedy recovery, the PCO said.

Mr. Marcos and the First Lady arrived last weekend from Europe after conducting successful visits in Germany and the Czech Republic.

The President had full schedules on March 18 and 19 including attending the World Economic Forum and welcomed US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Tuesday.

Earlier, doctors said the President and the First Lady continue to experience flu-like symptoms but with improvements, maintaining stable vital signs.
