Actor Rayver Cruz issued an apology on Saturday, March 16, after finding himself being criticized for his inappropriate behavior during a livestream with his girlfriend, Julie Anne San Jose.
In a screen recording of the livestream posted on X, Rayver was seen interrupting Julie Anne while she answered a fan question.
In the same video, some viewers found his response odd as he answered another fan’s question about their upcoming concert.
With Rayver’s “strange” behavior, netizens were quick to ask if the actor was under the influence of illegal drugs.
However, the actor took to his social media accounts to apologize to those who were offended by his actions and called out those who accused him.
But I was just being myself. Playful and happy talaga ako. Lalo na when I’m with my love. She knows that, she knows me. I don’t usually speak up pero ibang usapan na ang accusations,” wrote Rayver.
He also clarified that he didn’t hit Julie as he respects and loves her and her family.
My mom raised me right. I respect Julie sobra sobra and sobra ko syang mahal pati ang family nya,” he continued.
Salamat po and goodnight!” Rayver added.
On the other hand, Julie didn’t keep mum as she defended Rayver, asking netizens to stop accusing the actor.
Below the belt and harsh na po itong accusations, please stop,” posted Julie.
Rayver and Julie admitted that they were dating in November 2022 during their “JulieVerse” concert.
