At first glance, one might mistake Co-Lab for a studio catering to content creators and social media personalities for their online works, but no, it’s actually a coffee shop.

Co-Lab is a hotspot for busy professionals. It has an interesting name but the kind of service and ambiance it provides deserve more than just a second look, they call you to experience them firsthand.

Co-Lab by Coffee Project is the latest coffee venture by the Villar Group of Companies. Launched on Jan. 29, with Manny Villar, founder and chairman, as well as Camille Villar, Managing Director of Coffee Project, presiding over the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Located at Vista Taft, a condominium development along Taft Avenue, Co-Lab was envisioned to be a haven for all manner of coffee enthusiasts who could use a safe and cozy space conducive to both productivity and leisure.

Co-Lab also attracts students from nearby schools like De La Salle University, College of Saint Benilde, St. Scholastica’s College, Arellano University, University of the Philippines-Manila, and St. Paul’s College-Manila, as well as professionals from nearby offices. It aims to welcome these students and offer them a cozy environment to tackle their school tasks, whether it’s studying, writing a thesis, or problem-solving. With this student-focused approach, Co-Lab aims to become the go-to spot for productive studying.

What sets Co-Lab apart are its specialized rooms designed for both co-working and events. “The Quiet Space” provides a peaceful environment for focused work or intense studying. Meanwhile, the “Podcast Area” caters specifically to podcasting enthusiasts and professionals, equipped with top-notch audio recording facilities for high-quality podcast production.

True to its name, Co-Lab is a collaboration between the Villar Group brands Coffee Project and Paper&Co. The latter specializes in providing and selling a variety of school and unique art products that students and young professionals need in their daily lives.

Additionally, Co-Lab’s proximity to AllDay provides convenient access to the convenience store at any time of day.
