Senator revisits his roots

After 50 years or so, Senator Manuel ‘Lito’ Lapid (fourth from left) revisits the humble community in Barangay Damayan, San Francisco del Monte, Quezon City where he spent a good part of his life, playing big brother to siblings Rey Lapid and Salud Calalay. Coincidentally, it is also in this area that the late Fernando Poe, Jr. established his studios.
