GMA Regional TV and Synergy welcomes the new year with a bang as it showcases a series of Kapuso events in the country’s biggest festivals, bringing joy and excitement to all Filipinos across various regions.
The eventful year kicked off with the Ati-Atihan Festival as Sparkle artists Martin Javier, Andrea Torres, and Rocco Naccino brought excitement and entertainment at the Binibini ng Kalibo Ati-Atihan 2024 last Jan. 12 at ABL Sports Complex, Kalibo, Aklan.
The colorful celebration of the Ati-Atihan Festival did not stop there as Black Rider actors Ruru Madrid and Jon Lucas, together with Asawa ng Asawa Ko stars Liezel Lopez and Joem Bascon, gave their all-out performances in a Kapuso Fiesta last Jan. 18 at Pastrana Park, Kalibo, Aklan.
Meanwhile, the celebration of Sinulog sa Kabankalan in Negros Occidental was made more special as Asawa ng Asawa Ko cast Jeniffer Maravilla, Liezel Lopez, Martin del Rosario, and Rayver Cruz brought good vibes through a Kapuso Fiesta last January 12 at Kabankalan City Public Plaza, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
Mesmerizing beauties and soulful melodies also filled the air during Miss Sinulog Kabankalan 2024 last Jan. 18 at K-Center Gymnasium, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental, with the participation of Christian Bautista and Miss Universe Philippines 2020 4th runner-up Billie Hakenson.
The celebration of the Coco Festival was made even sweeter this year with the powerful and enchanting performances of Queendom’s Jessica Villarubin during the Swiftie Fest 2024 last Jan. 15 at SM City San Pablo, San Pablo City, Laguna.
Kapusong Tarlaqueños were also given a special treat as Boobay, Pokwang, Sparkle U #Soundtrip cast Michael Sager, Zephanie, and Althea Ablan, together with Makiling stars Brent Valdez, Thea Tolentino, Kristoffer Martin, and Derrick Monasterio painted smiles at the Kaisa Festival through a Kapuso Fiesta last Jan. 15 at Plazuela, Tarlac City.
Kapuso artists Martin Javier, John Rex Baculfo, Arra San Agustin and Carla Abellana also brought color to the Kaisa Festival with their participation in Miss Tarlac City 2024 last Jan. 16 held at Plazuela, Tarlac City.
There is still more in store for the Kaisa Festival as Hannah Precillas and Jeremiah Tiangco are set to serenade the crowd during the Grand Homecoming Ballroom Night at Plazuela, Tarlac City this January 20.
The much-awaited Sinulog Festival, on the other hand, will definitely be a lot more special this year as Jennylyn Mercado from the GMA Prime series Love.Die.Repeat., together with Gabby Concepcion and Max Collins from the upcoming series My Guardian Alien, are more than ready to jazz up the festival and bring some good vibes through a Kapuso Fiesta on January 19 at The Terraces, Ayala Center Cebu, Cebu City.
More entertainment awaits Kapusong Cebuanos as Makiling’s Teejay Marquez, Royce Cabrera, Myrtle Sarrosa, and Kristoffer Martin — pepped up the crowd with exciting performances and surprises in a Kapuso Mall Show on Jan. 20 at Ayala Malls Central Bloc, Cebu City.
The fun did not stop there as Ken Chan and Kazel Kinouchi from Abot-Kamay na Pangarap, together with Kate Valdez and Joaquin Domagoso from the upcoming shows Shining Inheritance and Lilet Matias: Attorney-at-Law, respectively, had a fun-filled Kapuso Mall Show on Jan. 21 at SM City Cebu, Cebu City.
Lipa City was likewise treated to an extra dose of Kapuso entertainment on Jan. 20 as Paul Salas of Shining Inheritance; Kim de Leon, Liezel Lopez, Martin del Rosario, and Jasmine Curtis-Smith of Asawa ng Asawa Ko; together with Pepita Curtis, John Rex Baculfo, and EA Guzman bring unparalleled entertainment at the Lipa City Fiesta to be held at Plaza Independencia, Lipa City.
The final week of January is packed with endless surprises as Paul Salas, Luke Conde, and Lianne Valentin take part in the Dinagsa Queen 2024 on Jan. 26 at Cadiz Arena, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.
Adding to this is the participation of Asawa ng Asawa Ko star Bruce Roeland, Stolen Life star Carla Abellana, and Love.Die.Repeat stars Mike Tan and Jennylyn Mercadoin the much-awaited Dinagyang Festival through a heart-pumping Kapuso Mall Show on Jan. 27 at Robinsons Iloilo.
“There is a lot in store for our Kapuso from various regions across the country this year as GMA Regional TV and Synergy ensures that we bring their favorite Kapuso shows and artists closer to them,” said Senior Vice President and Head of GMA Integrated News, Regional TV and Synergy Oliver Victor Amoroso.
