The Partido Federal of the Philippines (PFP) Party launched last Saturday, Jan. 6, the first-ever mass oath-taking in Tagum City, in Mindanao.
The national officers of the party attended the event. headed by national president Gov. Leandro B. Vercelles Jr., national secretary general Mayor Antonio C. Rodriguez Jr., national treasurer engineer Antonio G. Marfori, vice president of Mindanao, and national auditor Assam M. Kingdom and the regional officers of Mindanao.
Six regions attended the mass oath-taking and the majority of regional officers were relieved from the issue that became a wrap for the new party leadership.
The new national and secretary general explained that the election of new party officers is per the party constitution.
According to the president, party officers have only 2 years term. All party officials had finished their terms on Sept 17, 2023 and all actions of ex-officers are called ULTRA VERES.
According to the new official, former national president Reynaldo S. was removed from the position. Only three remained: Tamayo Jr., national secretary general Thompson C. Lantion, and the general counsel George S. Briones.
In mass oath-taking, most of the new members are ordinary leaders in the country. Politicians are rarely seen in mass oath-taking.
According to the mayor, Antonio C. Rodriquez Jr. is the new national secretary general, whose 80% of the party members are from the masses. This is the only party that has given opportunity to ordinary leaders of the country.
The regional chairman of PFP Region 11, Alexander P. also thanked him. Agustin and regional president Mario Rapas Sr. and regional secretary general, Honorato Abarquez are in Region 11, the venue of mass oath-taking in Mindanao.
All the leaders in Regions 8 and 9, BARMM, Caraga, and Region 10 were united and there were even leaders from Visayas who came to witness the first mass oath-taking this year but according to the officials, they will travel across the country to conduct the oath-taking of new party members.
