Days will be warmer in Metro Manila and other parts of the country due to a weaker “amihan” or northeast monsoon, weather bureau PAGASA said.
PAGASA forecasters said the amihan could cause rains in Batanes and Babuyan Islands but is unlikely to cause thunderstorms.
The agency expects the amihan to strengthen in the coming months.
Easterlies will also affect Palawan, bringing cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms.
Generally fair weather and isolated rain showers will prevail over most areas in the country, PAGASA forecaster Obet Badrina said.
Palawan, however, will experience scattered rain showers and thunderstorms caused by the easterlies.
Moderate to heavy rains may result in flash floods and landslides.
Isolated light rains caused by the northeast monsoon will prevail over Batanes and Babuyan Islands.
The rest of the country will have isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms and easterlies.
Meanwhile, Northern Luzon will have moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough seas.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said.
