Devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Eimee Edralin Cragun made the country proud after being named Elite Mrs. Universe Official 2023, during the coronation night of Mrs. Universe Official 2023, held at Newport Performing Arts Theater, Newport World Resorts, in Pasay City last Friday.
Cragun, an architectural designer, and entrepreneur and currently pursuing her Juris Doctorate at Arellano University School of Law, is the founder of DIYOBA Fitness 45 which conducts free fitness sessions in her hometown in Cagayan de Oro City.
A philanthropist, Cragun was a recipient of the UNESCO Power of Feminism Award (International Philanthropic Service) in 2009, in recognition of her selfless dedication to making a difference in the community through her charitable works.
This is Cragun’s second international pageant after Mrs. World 2008, held in Moscow, Russia, where she finished in the Top 10 and was named Mrs. Elegance.
Cragun’s co-winners were Nikka Marcial of Australia and Jeanny Buan of Canada, who were crowned Mrs. Universe Official 2023 and Ms. Universe Official 2023, respectively.

New Faces of Fashion 2023, the country’s newest modeling search, named its candidates during a press presentation held at Windmills and Rainforest Place in Diliman, Quezon City on Sunday.
Presented by Faces Events talent and events management group, headed by UK-based Lilibeth Woods, New Faces of Fashion 2023 will culminate in a grand coronation night on December 9 at Teatrino Promenade, Greenhills, San Juan City.
At the press presentation, named Press Favorites were Ashley Gomez, April Marie Key, and Michael Galapin. The rest of the candidates are William Chiang, Jake Lawrence Coronado, Dzharl Ringka, Jonha John Bullo, Ranz Ranon, RD Latoza, Aljay Dado, and Shiro Ogawa for the male category; and Zyra Basilio, Rania Misuari, Kylah Sidney Flores, Charlyn Anne Icban, Genesis Faye Santos, Michelle Owen, Maria Jessica Cano, Princess Erica Noble, and Honey Mae Lacuban for the female category.
