The administration and the offices of Speaker Martin Romualdez and Tingog Party-list led the distribution of P5,000 cash aid to some 2,000 beneficiaries from the 1st district of Zambales under the government’s Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program.
Tingog Party-list Reps. Yedda Marie Romualdez and Jude Acidre, in cooperation with Zambales 1st District Rep. Jay Khonghun and the Department of Social and Welfare Development, extended the timely aid to needy individuals and families.
“It is our distinct honor that Tingog Party-list has partnered with the 1st district of Zambales,” said Rep. Yedda Romualdez.
Beneficiaries of the AICS payout included PWDs and solo parents as well as Tulungan ang Bayan at Kabuhayan (TABAK) members.
The Khonghun clan formed the TABAK organization, whose members come from a variety of local industries, including from the transport sector.
Aside from the financial assistance given to the beneficiaries, Tingog Party-list also gave prizes to be raffled off, including grocery packages, sacks of rice, electric fans, rice cookers, refrigerators, smart TVs, bicycles, and two motorcycles.
