THE Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) is preparing local children and youth through education by providing schools with 3,910 armchairs in three of its five component provinces.
Minister Mohagher Iqbal said Camp Darapanan Integrated School which used to be a military realm for the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) decades ago, was among the schools-recipient of the BARMM’s Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education’s customized MBHTE-designed armchairs.
Iqbal said a total of 3,910 MBHTE-designed armchairs were delivered during the entire last week for 50 schools in Maguindanao del Sur, Maguindanao del Norte, Lanao del Sur I, and Lanao del Sur II, through their Schools’ Division Officer (SDOs).
He said the distribution of the classroom armchairs by the MBHTE-BARMM broadly covered the region’s demographic constituency among Moro Muslims, Lumad Native Tribes, and Christian settlers.
