AirAsia Philippines served this reminder to air travelers to make their trips less stressful particularly during the ‘ber’ months period when passenger traffic surges.
“Don’t forget these (gadgets) have delicate and often fragile components,” said Steve Dailisan, AirAsia head for communications and public affairs.
As the holiday season draws near, the airline also offers some crucial advice for both domestic and international visitors.
“This season is expected to see an increase in travelers arriving and departing, thus AirAsia has released the finest tips to guarantee a smooth and hassle-free journey. We want to make sure every guest enjoys a safe, on-time, and affordable flight is our top priority, and this extends to their belongings aboard our aircraft as well,” it stated.
AirAsia advised travelers that valuables such as money and jewelry should always be kept close, saying these items are not only susceptible to damage but can sometimes also attract unwanted attention–so keep the bling on board and add these to your carry-on.
“Important papers like your passport, travel documents, boarding passes, and IDs are also best kept in your hand carry. Losing these items can lead to disruptions to your journey or worse identity theft. Keep them within arm’s reach always,” it stated.
Medications such as prescription medicines, medical devices, and any other health-related items should also be kept in your hand luggage. It’s essential to have immediate access to these in case of emergencies and to ensure your well-being.
Meanwhile, AirAsia has launched a promo that allows travelers to win up to 500,000 airasia points for flight and hotel bookings when they book flight add-ons.
A total of two million airasia points will be given away: one winner of 500,000 airasia points, two winners of 200,000 airasia points, and three winners of 100,000 airasia points.
