A fraternal brotherhood has promised to support Public Attorney’s Office chief Persida Acosta if she should run in the senatorial race in the 2025 elections.
“The Fraternal Order of Eagles-Philippine Eagles Inc. throughout our more than four decades of history of serving the people has always believed in collaboration and partnerships, especially with institutions who have always put the welfare of the populace as its utmost priority,” its letter of support read.
Jayryl Ilagan, National Capital Region governor of The Fraternal Order of Eagles-Philippine Eagles Inc., said: “The PAO, with the leadership of Atty. Persida Acosta, has maintained the highest integrity for a government institution.”
“She has the full backing of Philippine Eagles, and that we will always support her as she holds on a bigger role in government, to assure further than the interest of the common good is always top of mind,” he added.
The communication letter was also signed by Ronald delos Santos, executive vice president.
“To our very own Eagle Atty. Persida, we wish you all the best and the government needs more public servants like you,” the fraternal brotherhood said.
