REENACTMENT BATTLE OF MANILA OR MOCK BATTLE OF MANILA BETWEEN US AND SPAIN (3) — Katipuneros with their Mauser advance against Spanish Army and Guardia Civil during a reenactment of Battle of Manila at the Luneta Park on Sunday, August 20, 2023, also referred to as Mock Battle of Manila on August 13, 1898. During this mock war, the US and Spanish secretly and jointly planned the fake battle to transfer control of the city from Spanish to the Americans without the knowledge of Philippine Revolutionary Army lead by Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo so as not to humiliate Spain for losing to Filipino forces who have brown skin. DANNY PATA
