The support I have felt, I have carried with me thru every journey and it has given me so much strength and made me feel so loved,” Amelinckx said in a Facebook post.

Donating to a worthy cause

Philanthropist and businesswoman, Riza Oben Dormiendo, Mrs. Philippines Face of Beauty International 2019, took time out from her work to grace the simultaneous nationwide launching of the Philippine National Police (PNP) Help and Food Bank initiative, held recently in Camp Crame, Quezon City. The project aims to enhance the support of PNP stakeholders to donate relief goods to be stored in the Food Bank to be used as disaster relief for affected families during natural calamities.

“It is very rewarding to be part of this activity of the PNP, which I believe would be of great help to our countrymen in the time of natural disasters,” said Dormiendo, president of Inner Wheel Club District 383 Muntinlupa Filinvest, who donated sacks of rice and other goods.

In the same event, Dormiendo was appointed as Vice-chairman during the oath-taking ceremony for officers and members of the Anti-Crime Coalition for Peace and Progress International (ACCPPI) a people’s coalition organized in partnership with the PNP, with the objective of promoting peace and progress within the communities.

Dormiendo also donated goods during an outreach program in Tondo, Manila, held in collaboration with the Manila Police Department (MPD) headed by a great general PBGen Andre Perez Dizon, for the benefit of the children of God’s Angel Little Miracle organization.
