Max’s Group deploys delivery e-bikes

Max’s Group Inc. has deployed e-bicycles to cater to delivery orders in select areas in Metro Manila.

The group has deployed a fleet of 30 pedal assist e-bikes to service more customers in high-density areas such as Ortigas, San Juan, EDSA, Makati, Taguig and Alabang.  The initiative is the group’s response to address the increasing demand for delivery services, alongside the global pursuit for more sustainable transport alternatives.

MGI said opting to mobilize e-bikes is perfect timing and allows it to effectively balance taking care of business while nurturing Mother Earth.

E-bikes are designed to emit less carbon emissions and helped the group rely less on fuel.

MGI said that since launching the e-bikes in key cities around Metro Manila, it continued to offer great and environmentally-conscious delivery services to customers, while also encouraging a healthier option for riders.

A pedal-assist E-bike is a great option for someone looking for a boost in biking, but would still like the benefits of a normal bike, according to Electric Bike Report.

It gives the rider an option to control the level of boost or the level of effort put in making it beneficial to the health of those driving them. It has the added benefit of no vibrations on the road and contributing zero toxic fumes to the environment.

“With the growing call for more sustainable alternatives in the industry, MGI is committed to make every possible step towards the same goal. Along with helping the environment, we are motivated by the positive impact that our fleet of pedal assist E-bicycles have had on both our customers and employees as we continuously work together to help reduce our carbon footprint. As the leading casual dining operator in the Philippines, we are committed to using our reach and influence to push forward our collective sustainability efforts,” said Max’s Group president and CEO Robert Trota.
